Services

There are different ways to work with me depending on what you need and how long you need it for. Every engagement starts with an initial consultation. From there, you choose the pace and depth that works for you.

Initial Consultation

A 50-minute session where we map the political environment around your business and figure out what you need.

Everyone starts here.

After your first session, you decide how you want to continue from the options below, or leave it at that.

Per-Session

Follow-up sessions booked when you need them, no commitment. For when something comes up and you want to talk it through.

Project

A short-term engagement of up to 3 months with a specific focus or deliverable. We agree on what you need, and I deliver it.

Program

A medium-term structured plan over 3-7 months. Working toward something specific and wanting sustained support to get there.

Partnership

A long-term arrangement spanning 7-12 months. For those that want ongoing political awareness built into how they operate and live.

Pricing

My pricing follows an equitable scaling model.

The base rate is determined by the size of your team: the people you employ as staff, the contractors you regularly pay to operate, and the volunteers who help you run things. Everyone counts.

From there, the final quote is based on the scope of the work. A single conversation is priced differently from a project that requires in-depth research or a programme that spans several months. We work that out together after your initial consultation.

Before We Begin

Submit an expression of interest through the Contact page. I review every submission personally and will be in touch within three business days.

If we are a good fit, I send you a short written agreement covering the terms of our engagement, including session format, cancellation, and rescheduling. You review and sign it before anything else moves forward.

Once the agreement is signed, we book a time and place. Sessions can be held at your place of business, at a cafe, or online. Your choice. I work in-person across inner-city Melbourne CBD and immediate surrounding areas. In-person sessions outside inner-city Melbourne may incur a travel fee, discussed before booking.

Once the time and place are locked in, I send you an invoice. Full payment is required before the session takes place.

I do not take or answer service questions (written/verbal) or provide advice outside of booked sessions. If you have questions about whether this is right for you, everything you need is on this website. If you still have questions after reading, book a session with me and ask them there.

Do’s & Don’ts

I help you understand the political world your work sits in. I bring political context, historical understanding, and analytical depth to your decisions, your strategy, your advocacy, or your personal political awareness. I work with you to build your capacity to think politically about the things that affect you, your team, your community, and the people you serve. I help you ask better questions of your existing advisers. When you sit down with your lawyer, your accountant, your HR adviser, or your marketing team after working with me, you bring political context they cannot provide. That makes their advice more useful to you and your decisions stronger.

I do not lobby on your behalf. I do not represent you to government, to politicians, or to regulators. I do not make political connections for you or advocate on your behalf in political forums. I do not provide legal advice. If you need legal counsel, I will tell you, and I will recommend you seek it from a qualified practitioner. I do not provide accounting or financial advice. I can help you understand the political context behind tax, employment, and funding policy, but I am not your accountant and I do not replace one. I do not manage your communications or public relations. I can help you understand the political environment your public positioning sits in, but I do not write your press releases or manage your social media. I do not write policies or compliance documents for you. I can help you understand why a policy exists and what the political expectations behind it are, so that when your team writes the document, it reflects genuine understanding rather than template language. The goal of my work is to build your political understanding so that you are better equipped to work with all of your other advisers, make your own decisions, and advocate for yourself. I build your capacity. I do not create dependency.
